Editing Smart Plan

If your plan doesn't align with your expectations, you can always update it, just make sure to have you "Type of refresh" as Manual.

You can only Edit Smart Plan. Simple Plan is not editable as automatically refreshed based on your lookback period daily.

Editing Growth Expectation

The Smart Plan growth expectation (Sales you expect to make over the next 12 months) can only be edited manually by you, we do not alter your Planned growth automatically (even if we see that sales are lower than expected - as there may be a reason why you want to keep it higher/lower for upcoming months (marketing; closures etc)).

We do generate a new 12th month after a month has passed, to make sure you always have 12 months of data.

Editing Plan Distribution

After you have entered you expectation of sales over the next 12 months you can update Plan in two ways:

  1. Automatically refresh distribution based on AI.

    1. Use "Re-Plan" bulk button on Plan (Buying Table) OR Refresh button on Plan.

We "Re-Plan" selected SKUs, given the most recent data.

How? We take the total 12 months sales expectation and see what would be the distribution for the SKUs now if the Plan was generated today.

Note: this would overrider previous Plan for SKUs.

  2. Manually Edit Plan on any level by month.

    1. Use the "Edit" button on Demand Plan to update by months on Sales or Quantity.

Top tip: Use filters at the top of the Plan page to filter the Plan and edit on the level you want.

Note though, if you "Re-Plan" (see step 1) your SKUs after editing it Manually, the Plan will be overwritten based on the Smart Plan.

Note: We will notify you if the data deviates from the initial Plan (10% higher or lower than expected).

As much as the Smart Plan can assist with planning, you are ultimately in control of your Plan on Prediko. Make sure you take the time to regularly update, edit and amend your plan where necessary for the most accurate results. See here on how to Plan on Prediko.
