Editing Smart Model

If your plan doesn't align with your expectations, you can always update it, just make sure to have you "Type of refresh" as Manual.

You can only Edit Smart Model. Simple Model is not editable as automatically refreshed based on your lookback period daily.

Editing Growth Expectation

The Smart Model growth expectation (Sales you expect to make over the next 12 months) can only be edited manually by you, we do not alter your Planned growth automatically (even if we see that sales are lower than expected - as there may be a reason why you want to keep it higher/lower for upcoming months (marketing; closures etc)).

We do generate a new 12th month after a month has passed, to make sure you always have 12 months of data.

Editing Plan Distribution

After you have entered your expectation of sales over the next 12 months, you can update the Plan in two ways:

  1. Automatically refresh distribution based on AI.

    1. Use "Re-Plan" bulk button on the Plan (Buying Table) OR the Refresh button on the Plan.

We "Re-Plan" selected SKUs, given the most recent data.

How? We take the total 12-month sales expectation and see what the distribution would be for the SKUs now if the Plan were generated today.

Note: this would override the previous Plan for SKUs.

  2. Manually edit the Plan for each month by Sales or Quantities, or YoY % growth.

    1. Use the "Edit" button on the Demand Plan to update by months on Sales or Quantity, or Plan YoY%

To edit your Plan by the Plan YoY% metric, please make sure to click the "Manage View" button on the Plan page and enable the Plan YoY% metric.

Then, you can simply enter the expected percentage YoY % growth for each of your months up to the next 12 months (shown below).

Pro tip: Use filters at the top of the Plan page to filter the Plan and edit on the level you want.

Note, though, if you "Re-Plan" (see step 1) your SKUs after editing them manually, the Plan will be overwritten based on the Smart Model.

Note: We will notify you if the data deviates from the initial Plan (10% higher or lower than expected).

As much as the Smart Model can assist with planning, you are ultimately in control of your Plan on Prediko. Make sure you take the time to regularly update, edit, and amend your plan where necessary for the most accurate results. See here on how to Plan on Prediko.
