Bill of Materials (BOM)
A Bill of Materials (BOM) is the collection of raw materials or components that make up the finished goods.
E.g - Vanilla Cold Brew Coffee is available to buy for consumers on our website. It is made up of the raw materials:
1 x Labels
1 x Cans
1 x Cold Brew Coffee Vanilla
1 x Packaging
1 x Packaging label
Creating a Bill of Materials (BOM)
You can Import the BOM or add it manually on the app as shown here:
1) In the Raw Materials section, select Bill of Materials and select a Product(s) that you would like to create a BOM for.
2) Select the SKUs within this product that apply to this BOM. You can use the 'Select all SKUs' option if all SKUs have the same BOM.
3) Select 'Add Raw Material' and add all the raw materials that make up this BOM. You will need to select the quantity of how many of each individual raw material makes up the BOM - E.g Coffee Cans = 6
4) Add in the production time needed. Once the materials are delivered, this is the time needed to assemble the components to make the finished goods.
Once added you will see the products with associated raw materials associated with them.
