How to link Shopify vendors to a Supplier
If you buy the same products from more than one supplier, or you want to control exactly which SKUs belong to a supplier, you can link Shopify vendors directly to a supplier in Prediko. Every SKU under the vendors you link is then attached to that supplier automatically.
This is different from the automatic Shopify vendor sync, which maps every vendor one-to-one as its own supplier. Here, you decide which vendors sit under each supplier.
Link vendors from the supplier page
Go to Settings > Suppliers.
Open the supplier you want to edit.
In the "Vendors supplied" dropdown above the SKU list, select one or more Shopify vendors.
Click Save.
Every SKU belonging to the vendors you selected is now linked to that supplier.
Unlink a SKU from a supplier
If a supplier no longer supplies a particular SKU:
Open the supplier and go to its SKU list.
Click Unlink on the SKU row, or select several rows and use the bulk Unlink action.
Confirm in the dialog.
Important: vendor sync must be off to edit this
If you have the automatic Shopify vendor-to-supplier sync turned on, the "Vendors supplied" selector is shown but read-only. That's because Prediko is already keeping vendors and suppliers in sync for you, so manual linking is disabled. To link vendors manually, the vendor sync setting needs to be off.
Notes
Linking vendors attaches SKUs to a supplier, but you still need to set accurate lead times for each supplier in Prediko.
If you work with multiple suppliers for the same product, the "Linked Suppliers" column on your Buy Tab, Transfer, and Inventory tables shows every supplier attached to a product along with each one's unit cost. Enable it from the table's column settings.
