Syncing POs to your WMS/3PL

How to use the integrations to sync POs to your other software

Written by Amar Sujith

Prediko has a number of integrations with several Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and 3PL providers running their own Location and shipping operations. If your chosen integration has the ability to sync POs, then here is how to use with Prediko. Prediko also supports integration with Extensiv (formerly 3PL Central), enabling seamless inventory management and supplier integration for Shopify users.

What does Prediko <> WMS PO sync do?

  • Create POs in Prediko and then push this PO into your WMS in one click

  • Sync received amounts automatically from the WMS

  • Avoid manual updates on Prediko- Automate inventory synchronization between Shopify and Extensiv, ensuring accurate inventory levels across platforms.

How to set up the Sync?

Please request your chosen integration through the integrations section of the app. For Extensiv-specific setup, ensure that your Shopify store is properly linked to Extensiv before initiating the integration.

Workflow Customization Options

While using Prediko with Extensiv, you may encounter suggestions to split your Shopify store into separate B2C (Business-to-Consumer) and B2B (Business-to-Business) sections. This recommendation is typically tied to specific workflows that require such segmentation. However, it is important to note:

  • Splitting your shop is not mandatory unless your workflow explicitly requires it.

  • Prediko processes all available orders in your Shopify store(s) and provides restocking suggestions based on historical data for each product or SKU, regardless of how your store is structured.

How to Create PO from Prediko in your WMS?

  1. Create Draft PO in Prediko

  2. Change the status of the PO to the "Ordered" Status

  3. A button will then appear in the Orders section with the logo of your integrated WMS/3PL.

  4. Confirm the sync

  5. PO is synced! ✨

Please note

  • Any changes to the PO should now be made directly in your WMS/3PL system and not in Prediko. All changes will then be automatically synced back into Prediko keeping your POs up to date and removing the need to update manually. Any subsequent changes made within a synced PO in Prediko will not be pushed into your WMS.

  • When first establishing the integration, we will import any recent existing POs from your WMS into Prediko. Please note that sometimes the status of these in a WMS maybe imported with the status "Approved" in Prediko. These will need to be changed to "Ordered" status in Prediko so that the units are registered as "In Transit" within Prediko and therefore factor into the buying recommendations.
