We've made it easier for you to manage your "Units to Order" for you Next Purchase Order (PO) directly within the Buying Table. Here's how the new feature works and how it simplifies your workflow.

Key Update: The "Units to Order (Next PO)" Column

You can now adjust the “Units to Order” right in the Buying Table with the introduction of the "Units to Order (Next PO)" column, located under the "Stock" section in the Buying Table columns. This addition allows you to set and fine-tune your order quantities without leaving the Buying Table.

How It Works

  1. Edit "Units to Order (Next PO)" Directly – Simply update the "Units to Order (Next PO)" column in the Buying Table as needed. All relevant metrics and custom views are available to help you make data-informed decisions.

  2. Automatic Sync with Your Next PO – When you create your next PO, it will automatically pull from the updated "Units to Order (Next PO)" column, so you won’t need to make changes after starting a new order.

  3. Automatic Reset for New Draft Orders – Once a draft PO is created, the "Units to Order (Next PO)" column resets, allowing you to start fresh for your following order cycle.

Why This Helps

When you are creating a PO we by default are adding buying recommendations ("To Buy (live)" column) to your next PO. You can of course edit "Units to Order" in the PO iself afterwards.

But by enabling direct editing in the Buying Table, you can stay within the metrics and views that support your decisions best, minimizing clicks and eliminating the need to exit the Buying Table for adjustments.

This new column empowers you to quickly and accurately set your order quantities, all in one place—ready whenever you are to create the next PO.
