How do Action & Health Columns work?

Yes the two are related but mean different things and understanding this difference is key to making Prediko work effectively!

Health: tells you the inventory health of the SKU right now, given "Units in Stock", "Plan" and the Days you have set as "Safety Stock" and "Days of Cover".

Action (Best Order Date): tells you what action you need to take to be Healthy at your next delivery with the order date optimised for Safety Stock + Lead Time. This calculation will ensure you don't order before you hit your safety stock, optimising your cash flow.

It's important to note that even though a product may be "Healthy" or in "Excess", it does not necessarily mean that that product is not ready to be reordered. E.g: The Stock in the below example is Healthy right now but given the days of cover and lead time, is recommended to reorder immediately.

Note: The 'To Buy (live)' column always shows the number of units (and cost) you need to buy now to be at your Stock Cover by delivery.
