What is a Bundle (as defined in Shopify)?

A bundle is a set of two or more related products, commonly offered at a discount. They are comprised of 'child products' or products that can be bought as standalone items. Selling bundles on your store can provide the following benefits:

  • increase your average order value

  • provide value in the form of curation to your customers

  • pass along discounts to your customers

  • clear out old inventory

  • drive more visibility for your products

Activating Bundles on Prediko:

There are three ways to activate bundles on Prediko:

  1. Use our integration with Bundles.app. To set this up, follow these instructions.

  2. Import your bundles in the settings section by downloading the template and re-uploading.

  3. Create bundles manually in the settings section of Prediko.

Assign the bundles, child products and SKUs accordingly.

How are Bundles included in metrics and recommendations?

  • The sales are summed on an individual SKU basis

    • e.g., If your Bundle = SKU A + SKU B and it sold 50 units. But SKU A sold 20 units single, we would show 50 + 20 = 70 units sold for SKU A

  • The demand planning automatically takes into account historical sales from both child SKU sales and Bundle Sales, and splits them proportionally

  • You can view the demand plan for your bundle SKU and can edit the plan as well

  • We only count the inventory of the underlying SKUs, not of the Bundle

  • Buying recommendations take into account planned sales for Bundles and Child SKUs.

How are Bundles included in Planning?

1. You can plan directly on your bundle SKU on the Plan page

2. When you view the child product on the Plan page, you cannot see the historical and planned sales of the bundle SKU there. You will only see the historical and planned sales for the child SKU alone.

3. However, on the Buy page, the recommendation for the child SKU will include the demand of the child SKU + the demand of the bundle SKU

Once Bundles are connected, you won't see Bundles SKUs on your Buy Now page. Only component SKUs.
