MOQ = Minimum Order Quantity

MOQ or 'minimum order quantity' or MOV "minimum order value" is the smallest number of units of a product that must be purchased in order to complete an order.

How to set it up?

💡Set your Minimum Order Quantity or Minimum Order Value type on the Supplier level

1) Settings > Suppliers

2) Create a supplier or edit an existing one.

3) In the supplier information, set the MOQ and the Minimum Order Type by quantity or value.

You can see all your SKUs, linked suppliers and MOQs set in the section 'SKUs Supplied and MOQ'

💭 if you select a "Product" type with 50 units MOQ, you will need to reach 50 units minimum on each Product (sum of all SKUs) that is produced by this Supplier.

If you select a "Value" type with $50 units MOQ, as long as you reach $50 across all Products on the PO for this Supplier - you have reached the MOQ.

How Prediko can help when placing an order?

💡When you create PO, you will see a column "MOQ Met", where you can see if on this SKU indeed the MOQ has been met.

How to scale to MOQ to meet the requirement

  1. Hover on the (i) icon in the column next to the "No" result

  2. Select all SKUs > Scale to MOQ (bulk action) > Confirm

  3. This will select all the relevant SKUs and increase the order to meet the minimum.

If selecting multiple products, navigate to the MOQ button in the bulk panel to action.

How do you calculate the distribution of units, when scaling MOQ?

We Scale up to your set MOQ distributed proportionally using "to order" units or value when more than one SKU shares the same MOQ.
