Recommendation policy & Demand aggregation per location

Learn how transfer quantities are recommended ('Demand driven' vs 'Top up to max') per location and whether that location's demand rolls up to its origin location

Written by Amar Sujith

Two new controls let brands tune how transfer quantities are recommended for each receiving location. 'Recommendation policy' has two options: 'Demand driven' (recommend based on forecast demand) and 'Top up to max' (recommend enough to refill the location up to its max stock level).

'Demand aggregation' (Yes/No) controls whether a location's demand is added to the reorder recommendations of its origin location.

Where to find it?

In two places:

(a) Settings → Transfers (app.prediko.io/settings/transfers): a new 'Recommendation policy' column in the locations table, editable per row, plus bulk-edit via the selection bar.

(b) Settings → Transfers → click a location (app.prediko.io/settings/transfers/location/[warehouseId]): the location detail form now has a 'Recommendation policy' dropdown and an 'Aggregate order recommendations to origin location?' Yes/No control.

Example: A retail store location with Max stock level = 500 units set to 'Top up to max'

→ Then, Prediko recommends transferring enough to bring it back to 500. The same store with 'Aggregate to origin = Yes' → its demand is folded into the reorder recommendations for the origin warehouse that supplies it.
