Our Transfers feature lets you download Prediko's recommended transfers as an Excel file and then lets you import that to your Shopify transfers.

Here are the steps:

1. Navigate to Transfers

  • From the Home page, click on Orders.

  • Inside the Orders page, open the Transfers tab.

2. Set Transfer Details

When creating a transfer order, you’ll need to provide the following:

  1. From Location (Source): The warehouse or location where stock will be shipped from.

  2. To Location (Destination): The store, warehouse, or website where stock will be sent.

  3. Lead Time: The number of days it takes for the transfer to arrive (e.g., 2 days).

  4. Coverage at Destination: How many days of stock coverage do you want available at the destination when the transfer arrives (e.g., 7 days for a full week)?

  5. Safety Stock: Extra stock kept to prevent stockouts due to demand variability or supply chain disruptions.

  6. Days of Cover: The estimated number of days the current stock level can satisfy projected demand.

3. Choose Transfer Data

By default, Prediko includes:

  • SKU

  • Source and destination

  • Quantity to transfer

You can also add extra data points, such as:

  • Current stock levels at both the source and the destination

  • Units sold in the past 7, 30, or 90 days (for benchmarking against transfer recommendations)

4. How to get the Transfer recommendations?

Prediko generates a transfer file with recommendations. You can choose where to send it (e.g., via email). Since the files can be heavy, email is usually the best option.

5. How Prediko Calculates Recommendations?

Prediko’s transfer suggestions are based on: This includes key parameters configured in the Plan settings, such as the historical sales lookback period.

  • Lead time (days the transfer takes)

  • Coverage needed at the destination

  • Stock availability at both the source and the destination

  • Any ongoing transfers (open, incoming units)

  • Sales forecast for the next 1–2 weeks

  • Safety stock levels to accommodate variability in demand or supply.

  • Historical sales data fetched from the user-defined lookback period for tailored calculations.

This ensures you always transfer the right number of units, based on both stock levels and expected demand.

6. Review the Transfer

Once generated, you’ll see a list of:

  • Products and SKUs

  • Recommended transfer quantities

  • Expected transfer date

This gives you a clear view of what to move, where, and when.

7. Import your finalised Transfer Order to sync to Shopify
